The Initial Garden Design Consultation

A single garden design consultation and visit to your garden is all that is required for some clients. I am on hand to visit and advise you on any problem areas without committing you to a full garden design. If a little more garden planning is required I can spend a morning or afternoon armed with a drawing board and pencils and produce some garden design solutions. I offer a bespoke garden design service which can be tailored specifically to your needs.

A More Detailed Garden Plan

More detailed garden plans are best for those who require a comprehensive service. This process involves initial garden design discussions and a survey of your garden and surrounding landscapes. A garden design draft is then produced for discussion before the final fully detailed plan is completed.

Other services that can be included as part of your new garden plan are the production of planning specifications for contractors, detailed planting plans or garden lighting design.

Garden Design Implementation

Some of my clients use my garden designs to construct their own gardens but more often they want help in finding a landscape contractor to build their new garden. Hortulan regularly works with excellent quality professional landscape contractors and can therefore advise you on suitable contractors to build your garden. I also offer a contract management service thus ensuring that the build is completed to a high standard and if desired I can draw up a detailed schedule of maintenance for your newly completed garden.
